Sister Song
The SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective is made up of local, regional and national grassroots organizations representing the four primary ethnic populations/indigenous nations in the country: Native Americans, African Americans, Latinas, Asians and Pacific Islanders, and Arab Americans. The Collective was formed with the shared recognition that as women of color we have the right and responsibility to represent ourselves and our communities. SisterSong is committed to educate women of color on reproductive health and rights, and work towards the access of health services, information and resources that are culturally and linguistically appropriate through the integration of the disciplines of community organizing, self-help, and human rights education. ACRJ serves on the SisterSong Management Circle, as well as lead organization for the Organizing and Mobilizing Working Group and the Asian and Pacific Islander Mini-Community.
